Ayurveda is more than just a system of medicine to treat disease, it is a science of life. Ayurveda sees human being as a part of nature, which Ayurveda describes having three fundamental energies that rule it: movement, transformation, and structure. Known in Sanskrit as Vata (Wind), Pitta (Fire), and Kapha (Earth). Each of us are born with a unique proportion of these three forces in our physical and mental bodies. The closer we manage to be throughout our lives to the composition we were born with, the better and happier we feel. The further we are from that combination, the worse we feel which can be in a form of mental unrest, physical disease and similar. To manage it, Ayurveda uses mainly diet, which is given after careful examination of proportions of forces that are present in each of us. In this workshop, we invite you to come and learn what your body type or constitution is according to Ayurveda and what is the appropriate diet for you to be as healthy and happy as you can be! In addition to this, because Ayurveda and Yoga seem to be related, we will look into the differences and similarities to diet and recommended foods from both perspectives! Should be a lot of fun exploring!
